The DJ Museum Foundation is the nonprofit 501(c)(3) side of the DJ Museum, created to preserve, educate, and celebrate the history and culture of DJing. Its mission is to make DJ culture accessible to the community through educational programs, historical preservation, workshops, youth opportunities, and community-focused initiatives.

The DJ Museum operates as the business side of the organization, while the DJ Museum Foundation operates as a nonprofit organization with a charitable and educational mission. The Foundation focuses on programs and initiatives that benefit the community rather than generating profits for owners or investors. The two sides can work together while maintaining their separate purposes and financial responsibilities.

Contributions and grant funding help support educational programs, DJ workshops, equipment and technology, preservation of DJ history, community events, youth programs, scholarships, and efforts to make DJ education more accessible to people who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate.
